From Sterling to the river

Seraph By The River began as a smaller shop — Sterling Seraph — and grew into something larger when its keeper found the right home on Main Street in Hamilton, Ohio. Everything moved here, and the space opened wider for crystals, tarot, herbs, apparel, and the kind of curiosities that don't fit on ordinary shelves.

The shop is women-owned and welcomes everyone. LGBTQ+ friends, lifelong practitioners, and the merely curious are all invited to wander in, take a deep breath, and stay as long as the candlelight holds them.

Familiars in residence

You will likely be greeted by two regulars: a cat with strong opinions, and a cockatoo whose charm is widely documented in our reviews. Saying hello is encouraged. They consider the shop theirs; we are merely its caretakers.

What we believe a good shop feels like

Calm. Unhurried. The light low and warm. Staff who are kind without hovering. Prices that are fair. A place where a beginner can ask their first question and a seasoned spiritualist can find something they didn't know existed. That's the room we keep, every day we open the door.
